ENGLISH: Topics: Days of the Week/Months of the Year

                                          Commas in Dates                             

Objectives: Students should be able to recognize capital letters at

                   the beginning of the names for the days of the week, months of the year and holidays.

                   Use capital letters to write the names for the days of the week, months of the year and holidays.

                   Recognize that a comma is used between the number of the day and the year in a date.

                   Use a comma correctly in dates.

Some base words end with a short vowel and a consonant.

The final consonant is usually doubled when ed or ing is added.

Objectives: Students should be able to tell what a rain forest is.

                      Identify different layers of the rain forest.

                      Recognize that  plants and animals that live in a rain

                     forest find what they need to survive.

                  

SOCIAL STUDIES: Topic: Review: Road safety

Objectives: Students should be able to identify and explain the meaning of

                     at least eight road signs.

BIBLE: Topic: Gideon

Focus: Gideon’s Call to Lead /Gideon’s Brave Army

             Godly Leadership/Sharing God’s Word.

Objectives: Children will understand that God uses Gideon to

                      deliver His people from the Midianites.

                     Understand that God can use them for His

                     purpose regardless of their limitations or circumstances.
