We will also be having a Christmas gift opening. Please send in a small, wrapped, present for your child (with their name on it) to open at school. Shhh! Do not let them know it is from you!

Look, We Are Little Scientists! Thank You F.B.C.S!

Today was our School’s Science Fair, it was awesome. We learnt why we float in salt water, which water

eggs float in best, how some sea animals dine (eat), and a lot about the Nassau Grouper.

A day at the beach is a wonderful way to spend time with your family and friends. You can swim, play games, and build sand castles. But, have you ever thought about how all of that sand got there and wondered why the shoreline weaves in and out of the ocean? Or how the beach you are standing on came to be or if it will ever change?

Our project was, ‘Building a Beach.’ We learned about the different parts of a beach. We investigated how  waves affect the shoreline of  beaches. We also discovered that headlands can prevent the beaches from eroding.

THIS IS WHAT WE DID!
