Homework 3 - 6 January 2012
Tuesday - Spelling - words with long o. Lesson 14, p82-87.
Wednesday - Math - multiplication. Triangle and square math groups to complete p36-37, multiply by 3 and 6. Circle math group to complete p29-30, multiply by 2 and 4.
Thursday - Accelerated Math homework. Children are working on multiplication and algebra objectives. Tonight’s activity will be in their Accelerated Math folder.
Friday - Science. Children are to gather materials for their Science Fair project. Children have been seperated into three different Science groups to conduct an experiment. Their chosen experiment, science plan and materials are written in their Science Log which they will take home over the weekend. Children need to have all materials for the day of their experiment. Albert Einstien group will be doing their experiment on Monday 9th of January. Alexander Graham Bell will be doing their experiment on Tuesday 10th of January. Isaac Newton group will be doing their experiment on Wednesday 11th of January. Children must let Miss Hurst know the day before the experiment if they are unable to get the materials so Miss Hurst has time to source them. Children will then present their findings at our whole school Science Fair on Friday, January 20th.
