Letter to Parents 7/10/11

Friday, October 7th, 2011

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for your cooperation during this week, the students worked very well for Ms Cilliers on Tuesday and for Mr Smith on Thursday. REMINDER - if your child does not copy the homework down from the board, please check the website.

Students are required to write homework down each day and to ask a parent to sign the agenda each evening. This will give us an extra place to communicate as we partner together in the education of your child.

Questions to ask this weekend -

1. How many tenths make a whole one ? How many hundredths make a tenth ? What do you need to remember when adding / subtracting decimals ?

2. What did Sam Gribley do in order to find himself a baby falcon in the book ‘My Side of the Mountain’?

3. Christopher Columbus sailed to Cayman in 1503, which other places did he explore on other voyages ?

Have a wonderful weekend !
