Look to see who has won Bible Awards again!  Way to Go!!

During our winter unit of study the kindergarten children made snowballs… Yummy snowballs.  They are made by making rice krispy treats in the shape of a ball and then shaking the ball in powdered sugar.  They were very fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Now if only a real snowball tasted so good!!

The kindergarten students participated in the school Christmas program An Island Christmas.

The class Christmas party was a ton of fun!  We ate lots of good snacks…

We had fun and games and got to decorate the teachers like a Christmas tree! What a blast!

Everyone brought in a new book gift to share.  It was a fun surprise to open our new books and share them with our classmates!

Merry Christmas! We are looking into many more fun times in the new year!

The kindergarten class had a fun field trip to the Airport Fire Station just before the Christmas break. 

 They learned all about the fire station and  got to ride on the fire truck,

The kindergarteners got a chance to spray a real fire hose and watch how a fire truck can do the same thing!

The fire fighters were very friendly and helpful and helped make our field trip a great success!

Kindergarten had their first cooking experience making blueberry pancakes.  Each person got a chance to measure, stir, flip and eat a yummy pancake. 

Next week we are cooking “Egg in a Frame”!

These boys and girls learned all 4 bible verses for the month of September!  Way to Go!!!  I am very proud of you.  Keep up the good work in October!

On Friday we had our first swimming lessons at the lions pool.  After some instructions from Coach Claire we had our own turn in the pool.

We even learned how to starfish float! We are very excited about next weeks lessons! We will all be swimmers soon!

Welcome to a new year at FBCS!  The kindergarten class started the new year off with the annual Teddy Bear Picnic.  We met lots of new fuzzy friends, ate bear snacks and marked a graph of our favorite bear snack.  The gold fish crackers won over the blueberries and the honey.  New pictures will be coming soon.
