Congratulations 509 miles!

What a team! Well done to everyone.

As a school we walked/ran 509 miles in less than 3 weeks. We joined thousands of other children from around the world all folllowing ultra endurance athlete Paul Staso on his solo run around Germany. He is the founder of P.A.C.E. Trek which stands for Promoting Active Children Everywhere. Find out more by clicking here.

Last year we logged 508 miles whilst Paul ran around Alaska. Paul has an online classroom so we can learn as we go along about the country he is in, about the adventures he gets up to and all about health and fitness too. Paul posts pictures and videos and we can leave him messages in his guestbook.

Here are some pictures of this years P.A.C.E. Trek. We ran laps in the gym and for every 25 laps (1 mile) our students recieved a footprint which was then put up on the wall.  We also did 2 whole school run/walks on the field. It was great to see so many active children (and parents) out there, great job!!
