NEWS – February 2014
FBCS is hosting a number of workshops for parents, professionals, and teachers who work with children based on the work of developmental psychologist and author Dr. Gordon Neufeld. The sessions will be taught by an accredited Neufeld Institute instructor Ken Boschman from Alberta, and experienced educator and registered psychologist. Please see this advert for more details.

Our parenting session “What Our Children Need From Us” was highly successful, and many participants asked for access to the notes. They are uploaded here and will be available for several weeks.

FBCS participated in the live streaming from a Nassau Grouper aggregation site in Little Cayman last week! Thanks REEF- Reef Environmental Education Foundation ,for raising awareness of the Nassua Grouper Moon Project in our schools.

Our School Rollathon was a big success! It is a one of a kind school event, in the Cayman Islands! Students had great fun riding their bikes, scooters, and using rollerblades in our supervised parking lots! The three top student fundraisers will be announced soon. Our school Math Bingo event was thoroughly enjoyed as students were able to calculate math facts and find the answers on their cards! It was great math practice and great math fun! This whole school event is part of our annual school numeracy plan!
