First Baptist Christian School is an elementary school on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, and is part of the First Baptist Church. It is conveniently located in Red Bay, bordering South Sound, between the eastern districts of the Island and George Town.
The mission of First Baptist Christian School is to provide academic excellence in a Christ-centered environment that meets the educational and spiritual needs of each student, and to develop confident, caring, responsible citizens, life-long learners who exemplify grace, knowledge, integrity and godliness.
The school enjoys one of the most modern facilities on island, boasting extensive landscaped grounds, with its own playground, soccer field, a full size gym, science lab, modern computer lab, big classrooms, restaurant-style kitchen, music room and with access to one of the largest chapels and auditoriums on the island.
One wing houses one of the most popular daycare facilities on island, the “Wee Care Centre”, where children are encouraged to learn while playing and having fun. Many of these children go on to join the kindergarten group of First Baptist Christian School and continue to be a part of our elementary school family, together with their friends and siblings.
Our school office is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. Students, parents and guardians are always encouraged to meet with our teachers and principal.
