First Baptist Christian School provides a student-centered American Educational Program in a Christian environment. We offer programs for Preschool, Elementary, & Middle School Education up to grade 8.
FBCS is a culturally diverse school with students from about 18 different countries around the world and with approximately 63% of our students being Caymanian.
We offer education for Preschool age 2.0 years to Grade 8. FBCS endeavors to help every child reach their full potential to become independent lifelong learners. FBCS uses an American curriculum and follows the Virginia State Standards for English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and special subjects such as Music, Physical Education, Technology, and Spanish. We follow the Cayman Islands Social Studies curriculum to explore Cayman’s landscape and history, as well as neighboring countries, and the ACSI Bible curriculum. A biblical worldview is integrated into all subjects, and students also have opportunities to express this through chapel, devotions, and bible classes. Our goal is to develop learners who can use technology effectively, work cooperatively, who appreciate the multi-cultural society we live in, and use their critical thinking, creative, and collaborative skills to face the global challenges of the future.
Our staff are dedicated to the whole development of each child, using challenging curriculum and enriching activities to promote and strengthen the spiritual, cognitive, physical, and social growth of the children in our care, so that they are on the right path to be equipped for life. FBCS is a ministry of First Baptist Church and is led by a School Ministries Team.
