To make this even more interesting we are going to learn more about the Continents.  Each child will choose a continent and research on the continent he/she has chosen to do.

The Grade 2 class will be working on a class project – Social Studies – Theme 2 : Cayman Islands – “A Part of the World” with special focus on the Continents and Oceans with the Caribbean countries. Creating a model of the globe (Earth) using balloons and paper.  The project will start in class and sent home later for the final finishing.  The students are excited and so is the teacher.The project should show:

1. The continents
2. Oceans
3. Equator
