Learning Grid for the week of June 21, 2020

Hello Parents and students,

It has been quite a school year. We are almost finished and you have done extremely well overcoming the many challenges that came your way. As we end the academic year, please continue to pray for our school and island as we navigate through uncertain times. Praise GOD he has a plan and will never leave us nor forsake us.

This week you are free to come an pick up your child’s supplies and having an extra bag will be very helpful as you transport items from the school to your car.

There will not be any live teaching this week as teachers have to be on site to pack up and secure the classrooms for hurricane season as well as take inventory and all the school business that goes with ending the academic school year. Instead, there will be a learning grid for the week where students can work independently.

Click this link to see learning grid: learning grid for the week of June 22

REMINDERS: Please ensure that your child completes any tests that were given on seesaw by the end of Monday. Late entries will not be accepted after this and it may affect your child’s final grade. Please email with any concerns or questions that you may have concerning this.

Kind regards,

Mrs. Seerattan

Online lesson plan for June 18, 2020

Hello Parents and students,

We are quickly approaching the end of this week, after which there will not be any online teaching but rather a learning grid for students to follow and work on their own. Please read your Parent R.O.A.R. that has been sent out by Mrs. Durksen as it has important information about the date and time you can pick up your child’s supplies from school and drop off any library books that are still in your possession.

Please click here for lesson plans for the day: Lesson plans for June 18

I leave with these words with you:

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans  to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Blessings,

Mrs. Seerattan

Online learning -lesson plan for June 16, 2020

Hello Parents and students,

This is the last week of online teaching as we will have to go into school to prepare for closure by taking inventory, packing up and completing reports. We will be preparing work that students can do independently during the week of June 22 -26.

In the process of entering reports and writing in comments we will send reminders to the students via Microsoft teams so they can complete any unfinished work. One way that you can monitor if they have outstanding work is by asking to look at their various platforms that they use when logged in.

Mathletics, mathgames.com, edpuzzle and seesaw will show if there are any assignments outstanding when they log in.

Online learning-lesson plan for June 12, 2020

Hello Students and Parents,

We have made it through the week and all praise to GOD almighty. Monday is a public holiday so there will not be any live teaching sessions. We are aiming to have all work completed by Friday June 19 so we can finish doing up reports for Quarter 4. Any outstanding work after this time will be recorded as zero.

If you do not receive an email about work that your child has to catch up on over the weekend or early next week, then all is well.

Mrs. Francis Powell will be having a live teaching session with the students at 9 am on June 12, so there will not be any Bible lesson today. The live lesson will be in Microsoft teams in the Spanish channel.

Here is the lesson plan for today:  lesson plan for June 12

Have a great weekend,

Mrs. Seerattan
