After the break, we will be covering the following in Numeracy:
29th October to 16th November.
Money
Here are the I can statements:
- The learner should be able to identify a penny, nickel, dime and a quarter.
- The learner should be able to add money (using the above mentioned) up to the value of $2.
- The learner should be able to count by ones, fives, tens and 25’s up to $2. This is why we did counting in the last few weeks leading up to the break.
- Correctly using the symbols of cent and dollar.
- Compare values of two sets of coins and one-dollar bills up to $2.
In addition to this, we will be reviewing addition (single and double digit).
We look forward to Market Day to end off this unit.
