Dear Parents,

Well after a wonderful concert on Monday night the Grade 5’s have had a hard working week.

They finished their mini unit in Math on Data and completed a Mid-Chapter check. In English we have returned to Storytown and enjoyed reading a fiction piece and some poetry. We finished the Social Studies unit on Early life in Cayman.

We will have our class Christmas Party on Thursday 19th December in the afternoon. Each child would like to purchase a book to give to their secret santa ( they will bring a slip of paper home with the name of their chosen person.)

Please ask your child the following questions over the weekend –

1. What is Mean, Median and Mode ?

2. How did Gideon grow in faith ?

3. Explain the different types of rocks that make up Grand Cayman ?

What a fun term 1 – we look forward to all the interesting learning activities in Term 2………..

 

 

The Grade 5 students enjoyed a week of Math lessons with Ms. Babb. They had fun making and interpreting line plots and frequency tables.  They got to know the triplets – Mean, Median and Mode 🙂

Micah won student of the month for November from Grades 4 to 6.

Well Done Micah ! Micah received a certificate, a trophy to display on his desk for the month and a special dessert treat with Dr Cross.
