Science

Students will be doing an experiment in groups to answer a testable question. They will follow the scientific process and record their findings.

Testable question: Will salt water affect the boiling temperature of water?

Book Report

Term 2 Book Report is due Monday 11th March.

Students received the forms today and they have also been emailed.

Rough drafts will be completed in class and final copy at home.

Reading Week 11-15th Feb

This week in Literacy we are enjoying Reading Week activities based on Fairy Tales.

Monday – The True Story of the Little Pigs – a persuasive piece to show the Wolf is innocent.

Tuesday — Jack and the Bean Stalk – Who is the real bad guy in the story ?

Wednesday – Aesop’s Fables – a writing response on what one of these fables teaches us.

Thursday – Cinderella – good triumphs over evil – a letter to one of the characters.

Friday – students will be writing their own fairy tale.

Homework this week is 30 minutes silent reading every day.
