Tuesday – Spelling. Lesson 17, Contractions, p100 – 105.  Due Friday.Wednesday – Social Studies.  Study for Social Studies test on Friday by completing the review questions in their Inquiry books.Thursday – Reading.  Novel Study.  Complete Reading Chapter 2 of Ramona Quimby, Age 8 by Beverly Cleary. Also answer the comprehension questions for this chapter.  Check out this website for more information on Beverly Cleary books and some fun games.  http://www.beverlycleary.com/ This homework may also be done over the weekend and handed in on Monday.Memory Verse – Hebrews 4:15

Monday – Spelling. Lesson 15, more words with long o, p88-93Tuesday – Math. Multiply by 7 and 8.Wednesday – Bible.  Showing Compassion.  Bible Workbook p71-72.Thursday – Accelerated Math.  Specific activity will be in the school bag.

Tuesday – Spelling. words with long o, Lesson 14, workbook p82-87Wednesday – Math. Triangle and Square group to complete p36-37, multiply by 3 and 6.  Circle group to complete p29-30, multiply by 2 and 4.Thursday – Grammar.  Identify verbs, workbook p36-37.Friday – Science.  Children to gather materials for their Science Fair experiment.  Children have been put into three Science groups and will be conducting an experiment in these groups.  This experiment as well as there Science plan and materials is written in their Science Lab Manual.  Children will take the lab manual home Thursday night so they know what materials to collect.  These are the days the children will do their experiments: Albert Einstein group – Monday 9th of January, Alexander Graham Bell group – Tuesday 10th of January, Isaac Newton group – Wednesday 11th of January.  Children will present their experiment and findings at our whole school Science Fair on Friday January 20th.
