We will take a break this week on learning spelling words. I am giving you an early start on the spelling words for April, 2015. This week and the two weeks after break we will be focusing on preparation for Terra Nova tests which will be held during April 27th to May 1st. The practice will be integrated into normal lessons.

Information for week of March 9th, 2015
Grade 3 has been looking at measurement in Maths. They should be able to measure to the nearest inch and half inch, the nearest cm and mm. They should be able to convert cm to mm and vice versa as well as cm to m and vice versa. The class enjoyed presenting their science projects on the ecosystem. Pics will soon be posted. Reading week was a blast and the kids produced many interesting pieces of work.
I hope you enjoyed the time of little homework but we are back to full steam. This week’s homework is as follows.
Spelling test on Friday after lunch.
Maths: Homework practice book-page 72. Due date –Friday 13th March, 2015.
Grammar: English workbook plus- pages 61-64 . Due date- Friday 13th March, 2015.
English project: Storyboard on Charlotte’s Web (instructions were sent home today. Will send a soft copy as an email to all parents). Due date Wed. March 18th, 2015.
