Monday – Accelerated Math activity. See agenda for each child’s specific form number and activity to complete.Tuesday – SpellingThere are two spelling groups. One group will complete Spelling Workbook Lesson 27, more words with o, p156-161. The other spelling group will complete these activities: Monday – Spelling Rules worksheet. The 23 words that need to be spelled correctly on the practice pages will be the ones they are tested for Friday. Children need to state the rule they used to correct the spelling mistakes. Tuesday – Free choice on Spellodrome activities (20min). Parents are to sign in their child’s Agenda to witness the time spent on Spellodrome. Wednesday – Complete a challenge activity on Spellodrome which has been set by the teacher. Thursday – review words for the following days Spelling test. This spelling group will follow the same routine each week, but will have different words/rules to focus on each week.Wednesday – Grammar, Capitalizing other nouns. Grammar Workbook p86 -87.Thursday (and weekend homework) – Social StudiesChildren are to research and choose a French food recipe. We will then choose some of these recipes to either make in class or have designated parents to make at home and then bring in for the International PTF dinner. Remember, the food should be a snack/finger food item which people could easily eat while moving about the stalls.
