Math and Science updates for the week of January 13, 2020.

MATH:

We looked at a two more ways of representing division. We then moved on to related fact number sentences to show how division and multiplication are linked. See mini note below.

We were able to correct the homework in class and the new home work assigned focuses on multiplication facts.

Math homework due on Friday 24, Jan. 2020: Pages 41-44, 46, 53, 54

SCIENCE: We did two investigative activities to explore how forces affect the speed and direction that objects moves. From the experiments we were able to look at what is an inference and how we can use observations to infer a statement about what happened.

Science homework: one worksheet on identifying inferences and observations.

REMINDERS:

  • please help your child learn their multiplication tables and bible verses.
  • Check your emails for important information from the school.
  • Ensure that your child has all their supplies. They have lost or used up some of what you got for them and you need to replenish pencils, whiteboard markers, rulers(replace lost ones), sharpeners (replace broken ones) and glue sticks.

Have a great weekend.

Remember the best way to get something done is to begin.
