Literacy:
- Students will be taking home a weekly homework packet. The package contains four pages ( cover page, present tense verbs worksheet. weekly spelling work and homework, and blank word search sheet.) On the cover page there is a slot for parents to sign. I would appreciate if you can take the time out to sign the homework, so I can know that you have seen it before students turn it in. Homework is due on Friday (March 13th).
- On Thursday, March 12th, the students will be given a verb test on verbs in the past and present tense.
- On Friday, March 13th, the students will have their weekly spelling test.
- Please encourage the students to read more at home.
Social Studies:
- Next week the students will be continuing working on their Turtle Farms. Since it a Natural Resource based project, students will be using things around them in nature. They were challenged to find thing close to home that they can add to their Turtle Farms. Please ensure that they make an effort to find at least 2 things in nature, this weekend.
- Also, since the student will be using paint for this project, please send them with an old t-shirt to cover their uniform.
Teacher’s note:
- Starting next week I will sending home completed tests papers for parents to sign. When you have signed the papers please give them back to your child\ward to take back to school to put into their portfolios.
