This week holds lots in store! It’s Spirit Week and we will be having chapel every morning as we learn more about Passion Week. The PTF is holding their annual Easter Egg hunt on the field on Friday and we have Open House this Tuesday night at 6:30pm. We’d love to see you at any of the above events.MathWe will be linking Geometry and Art and creating our own geo-people. We will also be looking at the basic components of Algebra. This involves identifying a picture or number pattern and being able to continue this pattern.ReadingThe children have been split into four groups and are working on four different plays. Each one has a Christian theme and addresses particular issues such as serving others, prejudice, telling the truth and practicing what you preach. The children will be working on their lines in class and may take their play home to help memorise their lines. We hope to present some, if not all the plays, in a chapel service in the next grading period.WritingChildren are publishing their Opinion Essay. The essays will be put on display in class and a copy will also be put in their Portfolio. Children have also written for a specific person of their choice, so that person will also be given a copy of the essay.
