Math– Place Value. Rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and thousands.Reading – Comprehension focus is finding the main idea and sequence of events. Children working in their guided Reading groups.Writing– All children to be writing on our Blog. Other writing focus is writing instructions. This will be linked to identifying sequence of events within our Reading program.Science – How do landforms change slowly/quickly? Textbook p292-315 and accompanying experiments.Bible – What is the second commandment and what does it teach us? Bible Memory verse John 4:24 “God is spirit and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” If children can recall the verse by Friday, they will get a sticker on our Bible Memory Verse chart. Children that can recall each verse, each week for the entire year, will get a medal at our graduation ceremony at the end of the year! Additional prizes will also be given each month.
