Additional Extras!Part of the new Math curriculum that FBCS has purchased includes additional Homework Practice Workbooks for each child. These books provide further activities for lessons taught in class. At the moment we have been working on lessons from chapter 1 (using place value) and chapter 12 (organizing, displaying and interpreting data). I know some of the children are all ready quickly completing the weekly homework and I believe are capable of completing this extra homework. I suggest completing a few pages a week from the chapters we are focusing on. The children can then bring the booklet in on Friday or Monday if they wish to complete it over the weekend. At this stage, it is up to the child and the parents how they use this booklet as this is an additional extra to the homework, not compulsory. I can make this compulsory if there is a general consenus that this new addition is manageable to complete alongside the all ready set homework.
