Topics/Objectives for September 3-7,2012.

Math: Read and write numbers to 15.          Identify the number of objects in a group.          Identify, describe and create patterns.         Copy a pictorial pattern to solve a problem.         Describe and extend a pattern.         Solve patterns based on number problem.         Chapter Test: Numbers & Patterns.        English: Identify sentences from fragments.            Recognize that every sentence has a naming and action part.            Identify the naming and action parts in sentences. Spelling : Students will hear, say and spell words with the short /a/ sound.Spelling Words: am ham had bad bag rag cap mad mat panChallenge Words:  Science: Identify the five senses.               

               Describe how their senses help them learn.

 

Social Studies: Describe and define a community as a place where people live work and play.                      Name the district/communities that are in Grand Cayman. Bible: Understand that God created everything by his word.           Discuss what God created on each day of creation.Memory Verse: In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1NB. Parents, please ensure that your child studies the Memory verse.
