Today in music class, my students sang beautifully to the song “Leaves are Falling from the Tree” . It was beauty to behold as they watched their colorful scarves fall to the ground like leaves. Wow!

SOCIAL STUDIES: Topic: Our Family

  • Define family.
  • Discuss families in our community.
  • Identify and describe the different types of families in the community. (Eg. Nuclear, extended, single parent & sibling)

 

BIBLE: Topic: Sacrifice

  • Students will understand that unlike the sacrifice of old, today we sacrifice our time and means by giving up something to help someone else.
  • Describe ways they can sacrifice to others.
  • Understand that like Abraham and Isaac and their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, obedience requires sacrifice.
