Math:Topic: Money

                Identify and describe a penny, a nickel and a dime.

                Find the value of a group of pennies, nickels and dimes.

                Count coins to find their total value.

                Identify different combinations of coins that equal the same value.

 

English: Topic: Writing Correct Sentences.

                                  Use capital letters to write days of the week.

                                 Use capital letters to write months of the year.

                                 Write names for holidays using capital letters.

                                  Use comas correctly in dates.

 

Reading: Groups: Group 1: “On the Job with Dr. Martha Smith”

                                       Group 2: ” The Fox and the Stork”

                                       Group 3: “Try Your Best”

 

Spelling : Groups 1 and 2 will do review words.

 

 Science: Topic: The Rain Forest Continues.

                     Tell what a rain forest is.

                     Identify different layers of the rain forest.

                     Rcognize that plant and animals that live in the rain forest find what they

                     need to survive.

                     Rain Forest Presentation. 

 

Social Studies:  Our Changing Community & Important Buildings.

                                 Discuss how the Cayman Islands have changed over the years.

                                  List at least six important buildings in Grand Cayman.

 

Bible: Topic: Crossing Jordan River.

                           Uderstand the importance of trusting God with heart, soul, mind and strength.

                           Learn the consequences of not trusting.

                          Test: Joshu and Caleb.
