It is a phone-like device that allows me to hear myself clearly while speaking softly into it.

The design of the TOOBALOO magnifies my voice allowing me to hear my sounds and words distinctly.

My  Toobaloo:

Helps me focus on my voice while reading by making my speech louder and clearer

Helps improve my self-esteem and increases my confidence in reading and comprehension.

When I use my toobaloo, I just want to read the story over and over again.

Social Studies Project “My Community”

My Community

Dear Parents,

First grade has been learning about the community. Their project is to build a diorama showcasing a community. This will be due on Monday October 6, 2014. Remember, in a community, you’ll find buildings, plants, animals and people.

This project will be marked out of 30. Points will be given for content (5), creativity (5), overall neatness (5), aesthetics /finished (5) and presentation (10). ( Rubric will be sent home)

The word diorama refers to a three-dimensional model. One of the great things about a diorama is the variety of ways to display it. The display is part of the fun and appeal of a diorama. Get creative and have fun! I can’t wait to see what your child will come up with.

NB. Please help your child collect a variety of seeds for the Science Seeds Project coming soon.
