Dear Parents,First grade has been learning about the community. Our project is to build a diorama showcasing a community. This will be due on Tuesday October 2, 2012. Remember, in a community, you find buildings, plants, animals and people.This project will be marked out of 30. Points will be given for content (5), creativity (5), overall neatness (5), aesthetics /finished (5) and presentation (10).The word diorama refers to a three-dimensional model. One of the great things about a diorama is the variety of ways to display it. The display is part of the fun and appeal of a diorama. Get creative and have fun!
