Math: Topic: Odd and Even Numbers

           Assessment: Order Numbers, Skip Counting by 2s, 5s & 10s, Odd & Even Numbers.

           Add three single digit numbers.          

English: Recognize contractions with will, is, are, and has in sentences.

              Recognize contractions with had, would, have and am in sentences.

              Tell what antonyms are.

              Recognize antonyms in sentences.

 

 

Reading: Groups: Apple Pie: ‘A Bed full of Cats’ 

                             Apple Sauce: ‘I am a Butterfly’ 

                             Apple Juice: ‘Where Do Frog Come From’

 

Spelling : Students will say and spell words with the long /e/ sound.

Spelling Words: Sonic & Mario: week bees feet free see meet queen green wheel

                                           three street sleep these keep

Challenge Words: people being sneeze

 

Science: All About Insects

               Identify the characteristics of an insect that allows its basic needs to be met.

               Recognize parts of an Insect.

               Observe changes in the life cycle of mammals and birds.

               Compare the ways young mammals depend on their parents for their basic needs.

              

 Social Studies: Tell the importance of water.

                         Tell the sources of water and how it is stored.

                         Define Imports.

                         Name countries where goods are imported from.

                         Locate countries on map or globe.

 

Bible: Joseph

          Relate the story of Joseph and his brothers.

          Understands that God turned the bad experiences in Joseph’s life to good.

          Understand that it is wise to flee evil.

          Even though Joseph was in prison, God was with him.
