MATH: Topic: Ways to make Sums.

                             Make sums 4 5 6, 7 8 9, 10 11 12, 13 14 15, 16 17 18, 19 & 20 using connecting cubes.

                              Create a number story kite with sums from 1 – 20.

Problem Solving: Choose the best strategy to solve problems.

 

ENGLISH: Pronouns: Define pronouns

                                               Recognize pronouns he, she, it, they, we, us, them, me and I.

                                               Replace nouns with pronouns in sentences.

                                              Test: Pronouns

                                              Listen to a personal narrative.

                                             Discuss characteristics of a well written personal

                                             narrative.

                                   How Do Animals Need Plants?

                                  Children will identify ways animals depend on

                                  plants for their basic needs.

                                 Recognize that animals need food, water, shelter and

                                 air t survive.

                                Children will identify characteristics of living

                               organisms that allow their basic needs to be met.

 

SOCIAL STUDIES: Test: Pictures and Maps

                                        Students will define family.

                                       Discuss families in the community.

 

BIBLE:  Topic: Sacrifice/God’s Special Plan for Me

                 Students will realize that God has a plan for each of

                 their lives.

                 God is pleased to answer their prayers when they trust Him.

                 Understand that unlike the sacrifice of old, today we

                 sacrifice our time and means by giving up something to      

                 help someone else.

                 Describe at least two ways they can sacrifice to others.
