ANIMAL HALL OF FAME!
Dear Parents, please assist your child to cut from old magazines or print at least two (2) pictures from each animal group below.
He/she should think of a creative way to present ‘Animal Hall of Fame’. Your child will bring home some information about each animal group. He/she can choose two facts/sentences to write about each animal group. This project will be marked out of 30. {Creativity: 10, Content: 10 & Presentation: 10} {See Rubric that will be sent home}Please contact me if you have questions or need more information. “MY SEEDS COLLECTION”
Collect at least six (6) different types of seeds and think of a creative way to display them.
Write the names of the seeds. You can print pictures of the seeds if possible.
NB. Students will be graded on Content, Creativity, Neatness and Presentation.

First grade has been learning about the community. Their project is to build a diorama showcasing a community. This will be due on Monday October 7, 2013. Remember, in a community, you find buildings, plants, animals and people.
This project will be marked out of 30. Points will be given for content (5), creativity (5), overall neatness (5), aesthetics /finished (5) and presentation (10). ( Rubric will be sent home)
The word diorama refers to a three-dimensional model. One of the great things about a diorama is the variety of ways to display it. The display is part of the fun and appeal of a diorama. Get creative and have fun! I can’t wait to see what your child will come up with.
NB. Please help your child collect a variety of seeds for the Science Seeds Project coming soon.
