Flat Stanley’s Botanical Garden Adventure

We had such a wonderful field trip to the Botanical Park today. It really turned out to be a lovely day. We were a bit concerned that we would have gotten rained on, but thankfully, it held up until we were just about to leave. 🙂

After our Botanical Adventure, (some of which involved meeting Johny, the Blue Iguana, learning about medicinal plants, walking through a chicken coup and old-time caboose, learning when and how to thatch rope, identifying the Cayman Islands National fruit, plant, tree and animal, and dining on snacks and basking in the coolness of the day next to the fountains) we got back to school and wrote down a few facts that we learned. Be sure to ask your child/children to list at least 3 facts that they were taught today. 🙂
