As we come to the end of Grade 4, we’re learning a bit about converting units of length. Here is a little clip that may help with homework tonight.
Remember:
Larger – Smaller = Multiply
Smaller – Larger = Divide
Length
12 in = 1 ft
3 ft = 1 yd
36 in = 1 yd

Throughout our unit on matter, we’ve done quite a few experiments…from observing which matter has the highest density to how we can prove that air (gas) takes up space.
As we prepare for our Science Chapter 11 test for tomorrow, ask your child questions about our experiments. Some questions to ask are:
1. What are the different states of matter?
2. How can matter change state?
3. How can temperature change the states of matter?
4. Define mixture and solution and describe different kinds.
5. Explain why some solids dissolve and some do not.
 
End-of-Year Concert: TONIGHT! Please drop your kid off in the Music Suite at 6:00pm. I’ll just say that you are in for an amazing treat tonight so come prepared to be blessed. 🙂
