Objectives and Homework for November 14 – 18, 2011

English – Students will continue to work on their story ideas and their drafts.Because of Winn-Dixie – We finished reading ‘Because of Win-Dixie’ and we have moved on to watching the movie. Be sure to ask you child what they think of the movie compared to the book. Homework: Book Report DUE on December 1, 2011.

Math – Students will recall multiplication and division facts through 10.

– Students will recall and multiply facts for 11 and 12.

– Students will choose the best strategy to solve a problem.

– Students will be given additional time to practice using Mathletics and http://www.quia.com/mathjourney.html. We will also be playing various math games to increase students fluency and speed in addition, subtraction and multiplication.
