Global Awareness Week

This week, First Baptist Christian School will be celebrating Global Awareness Week. We have chosen to study Africa this year, and every class was able to choose one country to research. We will be learning about what it means to be a global citizen, as well as learning many different facts about the Zimbabwean culture.

Have a look at this link that we watched today that helped to give us a better understanding of the roles that we play as global citizens.

Making Fresh Water

Before our Easter break, Grade 4 tried to make fresh water from salty water, dirty water and water with a lot of food colouring in it. Our experiment was a whopping success. Each experiment gave us clean, fresh water. Be sure to ask your child/children to explain the process to you in detail. Enjoy our pictures!
