Wow! What an amazing time we had on Friday! How many people get to wake up and go on a kayaking trip through the majestic mangroves during a school day! 😀 It was such a treat to wade quietly through the unique mangrove tunnels, listening to the water lapping against our brightly-coloured kayaks and birds sounding their welcome. As the golden sun warmed us, we learned about mangrove seeds, how very important it is to protect our mangroves and even got to touch the top of a jelly fish!
Be sure to ask your child what they learned and get them to describe (using as many adjectives as possible) our field trip. Thanks so much for entrusting your child’s safety with us! A big thanks to Cayman Kayaks as well, for doing the tour with us.
