Ok, so maybe I’m being a tad bit dramatic…
What really happened was…we tried recreating a volcanic eruption yesterday using a 2-Liter soda bottle, Rice Krispies cereal and a bicycle pump. Unfortunately, it didn’t go according to plan (which does happen from time-to-time). 🙂 We believe the hole that we had to create in the soda bottle became too big, so air started escaping. But, I suppose that’s the nature of science experiments…if it doesn’t work, you adjust accordingly, and try again.
