Poor Fred, the gummy worm, was out boating in the South Sound yesterday morning in the middle of a storm. Silly Fred chose not to bring a friend with him, knowing full well that he couldn’t swim and to top that off, he was not even wearing his life preserver! Unfortunately, it became too windy and his boat capsized. Poor old Fred was stuck, with no one to help him and with his life preserver caught under the boat. That is, until a group of fourth graders came along and saved him.
