Learning objectives:
- Compare and order fractions and mixed numbers, with and without models;
- Represent equivalent fractions; and
- Identify the division statement that represents a fraction, with models and in context.
Focus in class:
- Due to half day on Friday, we will use some Numeracy time for Science.
- Review of comparing, ordering and equivalent fractions
SCIENCE
Learning Objectives:
- Interrelationships exist in populations, communities, and ecosystems;
- Food webs show the flow of energy within an ecosystem;
- Changes in an organism’s niche and habitat may occur at various stages in its life cycle; and
- Classification can be used to identify organisms.
Focus in class:
- Food Chains and Food Webs test
- Habitat research project – Brochure on chosen habitat
