– Order whole numbers through the millions.

– Round whole numbers through the millions.

– Choose the best strategy to solve a problem.

Homework:Monday: Sharks page 10 1-10, 17-19, 20-21, Iguanas page 10 1-6, 16-19, 20, Koalas page 9 1-10

– Wednesday: page 12 1-2, 5-6 and 10

Thursday:page 13 – Sharks All, Iguanas 1-8, Koalas 1-5

PLEASE NOTE: We will be having a Chapter 1 Test on Tuesday, September 17.

Please also note that I assigned each student to a group (Sharks, Iguanas and Koalas). These are the names that they all came up with and agreed upon. Our groups are in place to simply ensure that I am not overwhelming or underwhelming your child with work. Everyone has a different, happy medium, and hopefully your child is happy with the amount of class and home work that they are receiving.  Please check in your child’s agenda if they are unsure what group they were assigned to.

Science – Describe the characteristics of 1-celled organisms, bacteria and protists.

– Observe the function of a plant cell.

– Describe the structures of vascular and non-vascular plants.

Bible – Recognize that God’s Word is Truth and relevant to our lives.

Homework: – Study Bible Verse for Friday. (Parents, please encourage your child/children to study and memorize his/her Bible verse. This counts towards their end of term Bible grade.)
