English: – Use commas after the introductory words yes, no and well.

Number the Stars: Number the Stars is quite an amazing read so far. Be sure to ask you child/children what they think of the book, and to summarize what we’ve read of the book each day.
Some of the learning objectives (or WALT as we refer to them in Grade 4; We Are Learning To) that we will cover while reading are:

Spelling: – Study for our Spelling Test this Friday. (Words were handed out on Monday.)
Math: – Mid-Chapter Check
– Choose the best strategy to solve problems.
– Multiply a multi-digit number by a 1-digit number.
Science: – Identify and describe forces that change Earth’s surface.
– Investigate what animal tracks tell about the animals that make them.
Social Studies: – We’ve all met Flat Stanley (traveling all the way from Alabama), now it’s time to teach him about the Cayman Islands. Students will be split up into groups, where they will have to research a district and pass on what they have learned to Mr. Stanley. 
Bible: – Study Bible verse for Friday. Parents, please encourage your child to study their Bible verse every week. These do impact their Bible grades.
– Sequence the events related to the fall.
– Categorize sins as either doing on purpose or failing to do right.
– Determine that since are committed in thought, word and action.

Students can earn an extra 2 stickers for learning the entire Bible verse.
