Dear Parents,

Grade 4 has been hosting Flat Stanley for a few days now, teaching him about the Cayman Islands and the best places to visit while he is here. Now, we would like to take him to the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens to teach him about our local plants, traditions and animals. Our field trip to the Botanical Gardens is scheduled for Tuesday, 17 February 2015. There is no cost for admission for your child, but adults will need to pay CI$8. We plan to leave at 8:45 am and return approximately 11:30 am, in time for lunch at school. Please return the attached permission form by Friday, 13 February.

We will take a leisurely tour of the colorful gardens, try to spot a few Cayman Blue Iguanas and have our snack by the lake. Please ensure that your child/children come prepared with their school hat, sunscreen, their snack bag and water.

We will need parents to assist with transportation, so please also let me know if you would be available.

Thanks so much for your help.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Suckoo
