BUT incase you missed it, here are the highlights:
Students are sharing the interesting history and unique design o the Cayman coat of arms. Using a variety of art forms like:
- short stories
- essays
- interviews
- poems
- photos
- art (e.g. collage, painting, drawing) that are vivid, concise and geared towards a general student population audience.
For written work:
- For prose, the word count should be between 350‐500 words
- Typed submissions should be in 12 point font in .doc or .docx (Microsoft Word) format
- PDF and handwritten submissions will also be accepted
- Submissions can be fiction or non‐fiction
Art:
- Artwork is also welcomed but please do not submit pencil drawings or sketches, as they do not print well (Pleasenote that while original artwork is welcomed it cannot be returned)
- All photos should be submitted in .jpeg or .png format
- Previously unpublished submissions are preferred (If the submission has been published before, please ensurewritten permission has been sought from the owner of the material)

Butterfly Storybook Competition
From the Rotary Club! Writing competition for those very creative minds in Grade 4. They can use their skills to create a story that reflects acts of kindness, friendship, leadership and/or respect. This can involve your friends, family and/or pets.
