GRAMMAR

– Review Unit 1 in preparation for our Unit 1 Test on Wednesday

WRITING

– Students will be able to have a basic understanding of informative writing and why we do it

– Students will be able to reassess their original piece of writing

– Students will be able to start thinking of a topic to learn about and study

– Students will be able to narrow down their topic

– Students will be able to read about their chosen topic to learn more

READING

– To listen critically oral communication

– To respond appropriately to oral communication

– To develop deeper meaning to vocabulary words

– To read a variety of literary texts

– To recognize the features of a narrative poem

– Demonstrate comprehension of passages through Critically Thinking quiz

SOCIAL STUDIES

– Identify differences & similarities between urban & rural life

– Explore Caribbean culture

BIBLE

– Identify 4 important ways the Bible is useful

– Review Unit 2 and prepare for assessment for next Tuesday, October 1
