BOTTLE CAPS! The school has been collecting bottle caps and our classes have special tubs for sorting. Over the long weekend collect any bottle caps you use and bring them in on Tuesday! (please give them a rinse before turning in)
SPELLING MANIA
Students were given their spelling mania list, 25 words! they are a bit tricky, so use the spelling contracts for help and a few minutes a day of practice. The test is next Friday! Keep in mind, this is a sponsored spelling event, money per word or a one off donation! Can’t wait (:
SHHHHHH….. surprise for the students!
In the month of November, Grade 4 has been focusing their devotions on thankfulness. Each day they write something they are thankful that corresponds to the number (Day 8, eight things they are thankful for and why; written or drawn!). For the 30th day, Grade 4 teachers are asking YOU to write 30 things you are thankful for ABOUT YOUR CHILD! They have been coming up with beautiful reminders, like how we have food each day, electricity, a desk to write on and even being able to use electronics! (yes, even an iPad is something we can be thankful for, ha!) We would love for them to be surprised the last day FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 30 to not write anything but read what their parents have written to them. This can be an email and I’ll print out or hand written; even family members can write a few for you, more the merrier. So, please try and keep it a secret and when you get a chance send us an email or you can leave notes in the office, where they can put into our boxes. Thank you for your participation and lets continue having a thankful heart and mind throughout the month and daily!
