Unit 22 – The Body of Christ

ACTIVITY 1:

  • The church isn’t the building you go to on Sundays to worship God, it’s the people who are inside the building!

  • What is the church? (all believers united to serve the Lord’s purpose)
  • What are three words that represent the Church? (building, bride, and body)
  • Who is the cornerstone of the Church? (Jesus Christ)
  • Why part do believers play in the building? (They are the living stones that make up the remainder of the building.)
  • How is the Church like a bride? (Christ loves the Church as a husband should love his wife.)
  • Why does the Bible compare the Church to a human body? (because the parts of a body work together to make the body function and the parts of the Church work together to make the Church function.)
